Arlet Ferreres Miró, a primary school teacher, has the love of family, of her super attentive boyfriend of 8 years, Victor, and of a supportive group of girlfriends. She flaunts her independence and revels in being able to make her own choices. But did the fates take the upper hand when in the midst of surprising discoveries and revelations about her friends and family, she found herself steadily attracted to her easy-going, 'love them and leave them' swim instructor Dani Díez? Arlet was drawn to the other woman with a desire that she had not felt in all her years with Victor, but would Dani return her affections? Could a mutual attraction develop and deepen into longlasting love? Will Arlet and Dani's story go down as one of the greatest romances of our time? Guess we'll have to keep tuning in to see.

The series, which is broadcast in Catalan, centers around the lives and loves of a very close-knit group of friends, professional women, who are not afraid to make tough choices and are prepared to follow wherever life may lead.

Plot:

Based on a true story, A Love to Keep begins in fascist Spain in the early 1970's. The two main characters are school teachers Elvira and Pilar, two women who live a quiet but happy life together until Pilar's parents intervene and have her shipped off to a psychiatric hospital for "treatment," including electroshock aversion therapy. She remains confined for over 4 years, finally released after Franco's death, as the fascists give way to a more open society and political system. However, she is a broken woman, beset by nightmares and sudden mood swings — side effects of the electroshock therapy — and their hopes for a happy life after their long-awaited reunion slowly unravel. It's a moving story, although heavily downbeat and at times difficult to watch. As a made-for-TV movie, the production values are a little rough around the edges, but the performances make up for those minor issues.

Plot:

A teacher who prides herself on being different meets a student who matches her non-conformist nature in this period drama. It’s 1934, and Miss G (Eva Green) is a teacher at a private school for girls near the Eastern coastline of England. While most of the teachers at the school are severe and straight-laced women who reinforce its reputation as a repressive environment, Miss G is more youthful and glamorous than her colleagues, and enjoys dropping hints of a free-spirited past to her young charges. Miss G encourages her students to challenge conventional norms of the day, and organizes a diving team at the school that she oversees with great interest. Miss G also sees a danger in the cliques that dominate the school, and she tries to undermine them, much to the annoyance of Di (Juno Temple), who hold a high place in the school’s pecking order. But things change for both Miss G and her students when Fiamma (Maria Valverde) enrolls at the school. Fiamma is from Spain and has a strong independent streak; she doesn’t look to her peers for approval and insists on doing things her own way, which makes her all the more exotic and appealing to the other students. Fiamma also earns the approval of Miss G, but before long rumors begin to spread that the teacher’s interest in her new student is more than academic.

Asia, an 18 year-old girl is in the hospital in comatose state. Her mother and her boyfriend, Nathaniel, take care of her. Little by little we'll see the events that led Asia to the hospital, the relationship with her mother, her girlfriends and her boyfriend, and specially with Eloïse, an enigmatic girl who introduce her in a new world of feelings. With her, Asia will revive a painful episode from her past, a one her mother will not allow to see the light. Finally, Asia will face everybody to be happy in her relationship with Eloïse.
