Plot:

A decorated Marine officer unexpectedly returns home from the war and is quickly recruited to help a troubled teen prepare for boot camp, but when the true reasons for her return become known it threatens the future for both of them.

Hannah and Rachel grew up as little girls in the same small Midwest town, where traditional gender expectations eventually challenge their deep love for one another. Hannah becomes an adventurous, unapologetic lesbian and Rachel a strong but quiet homemaker. Weaving back and forth between past and present, the film reveals how the women maintained their love affair despite a marriage, a world war, infidelities, and family denial.

Now she pours the passion, strength and discipline that once fueled her sport into maintaining both a tedious job as a massage therapist and a loveless marriage. A chance meeting leads sets Jane on a new path: performing a CirqueDu Soleil style aerial act with a mysterious and beautiful dancer named Serena (Addie Yungmee). Each of them are illuminated by the presence of the other, but there are distractions. Jane is distressed by her lack of children while Serena is a closeted lesbian who tackles stereotypes with being an adopted Korean daughter of Jewish parents. As the stunning pair prepares to audition their act for a Las Vegas show, the gravitational pull between the two women becomes increasingly unavoidable... Plot:

BALD is the tale of Andrew Wood, a second year university student whose grades are receding faster than his hairline. He hits rock bottom when he finds out that he’s been kicked out of school. In an effort to increase his own self esteem and erase his insecurity about losing his hair, Andrew and his best friend Max start an online internet business with all of the girls as college to raise money for a hair transplant. Their little basement operation soon becomes a huge success and the young men and women achieve great wealth and prosperity.
When several groups of parents see their daughters exposing themselves on a late night infomercial; the sh*t hits the fan. A group of parents band together and make a plan to teach these kids a lesson. Of course, Andrew and Max are way ahead of the game and catch wind of the parents’ plot. They quickly fortify their newly acquired mansion with an outlandish array of booby traps and obstacles to entrap the parents and teach them a lesson of their own.
Andrew learns to overcome his fear of balding with a little love and help from his friends.

By coincidence, she ends up a patient's party, and it makes her open up in a new way.

Renee Vivien was a well-known lesbian poet living in Paris, France in the early 1900’s. She wrote beautiful, intimate poems about the women she loved and the heartache and heartbreak she endured. In 1906 she received a letter from an admirer, Kerime, a Muslim and wife of a Turkish diplomat. They carried on a torrid letter-writing affair over a 3 year period, only meeting in person on a few occasions.

The film opens on a Japanese garden, the camera traveling past a koi pond and azaleas to discover Renee, in her study, trying to write about the last time she saw Kerime, but struggling to bring the memory of the day back. An Erik Satie piano piece plays on the Edison phonograph. Renee’s concentration is interrupted when the mailman arrives. In the letters she receives there is one from Kerime. It is a picture of her, standing in full Islamic ceremonial dress next to her husband. On the back it says simply, “to remember me.”

Seeing Kerime brings Renee’s memory into sharp focus. She begins to write anew. Renee had gone to the park to meet Kerime, unsure if her lover had gotten her message. Finally, she sees her. They walk to each other, bodies anticipating the touch. While the poem unfolds in Renee’s mind, the action unfolds on the screen – Renee’s hand touching, traveling lightly along the edges of Kerime’s body. Kerime drops the veil covering her mouth and the lover’s are about to kiss when Kerime’s husband calls from afar. She rehooks her veil and flees. A tear slips down Renee's cheek as the aria “O Mio Bambino Caro,” swells in.

Back in her study Renee puts down her pen. The same tear fall down her cheek, splashing on the page. The poem is finished. She looks out into her garden as the camera pulls away and back out into the garden. The credits roll as the aria crescendos, the singer lamenting the loss of her love.
